Descripción
Until now research on entrepreneurship has been mainly focused on developed countries (Palmer et al., 2019; Guerrero, Urbano and Fayolle, 2016) or across countries (Laskovaia, Shirokova and Morris, 2017; Criaco et al., 2017; Sieger et al., 2016; Estrin, Mickiewick and Stephan, 2013), while little is known about the experience of Latin American countries (Amorós, Poblete and Mandakovic, 2019, Bartesaghi et al., 2016, López and Alvarez, 2018, Martins, et al., 2018, Romaní and Atienza, 2016). How is the internationalization of new ventures in these countries? How developed are their entrepreneurial ecosystems? Are there enough sources of finding to support the birth and growth of new ventures? What about women entrepreneurship in these countries? How does the university context influence the entrepreneurial intention of the students in these countries? What are the determinants of the entrepreneurial intentions of the university students? What is known about the family succession of university students? These and others are the type of questions this especial issue is interested in with particular attention to entrepreneurial activity and entrepreneurial intention of the university students.
