Demographic dynamics and its relationship to territorial cohesion in the Functional Urban Areas of Castilla-La Mancha. European Spatial Development Perspective proposed the creation of Functional Urban Areas (FUA) as territorial systems that help to optimize the cohesion territorial processes in the EU. In its creation, it was very important to study the level of relations of dependence between a main urban nucleus and its influence area. Taking into account the 10 FUA characterized the polycentrism in Castilla-La Mancha, it makes a diagnosis of the demographic dynamics that are involved in each of them, with the purpose of identifying those territories that are best able to implement a process of economic, social and territorial cohesion.
